This study examines the perceptions of veterinary science graduates and employers in Tamil Nadu regarding employability skills. It explores the importance possession and development of key personal qualities and skills among graduates and compares them with employer expectations and satisfaction. Findings reveal notable gaps in areas such as integrity responsibility negotiation and computer literacy. Employers prioritized self-management teamwork and adaptability while graduates often overestimated their preparedness. The study highlights the need for closer alignment between academic training and industry needs to enhance the job readiness of veterinary graduates.
