Percutaneous Reverdin-Isham osteotomy in the treatment of hallux valgus.

Hallux Valgus is defined as a foot deformity affecting the first radius characterized by lateral deviation of the first toe (Hallux Valgus) and a medial deviation of the first metatarsal (metatarsus primus varus) in fact it produces a much more complex picture than a simple aesthetic deformity which is known as first radius insufficiency syndrome with important consequences on the dynamics statics and function of the foot.
