Performance Appraisal system has been the focus of not only market enterprises but all institutions where people work together to achieve levels of performance that will bring about desired results.These organizations and institutions may be intent on making a profit or non-profit making. It is believed that good performance appraisal implementation may result in higher employee productivity optimal utilization of the available resources effective management of business processes and achievement of organizational goals. This work therefore is an in-depth assessment of the implementation of performance appraisal system for teachers in Zambia.Four key aspects in good performance appraisal implementation were assessed.
