PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF SELECT INDIAN PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES

An attempt has been made in the present study to have an insight into the examination of performance evaluation of pharmaceutical companies in India. To evaluate the financial conditions and performance of a company this study uses both various performance evaluation techniques like ratio analysis and statistical tools which capture the predicative viability of a company's performance evaluation that ultimately predict a score which can be used to determine the performance evaluation of the company. Moreover companies should make a concerted effort in maximizing assets and minimizing liabilities so that overall financial position could be improved. To conclude the study provides interesting insights into various facets of performance evaluation of select pharmaceutical companies in India which would add to the growing of knowledge on industry's performance.
