Performance of Mithun (Bos Frontalis) at different altitudes

Scientific research on Mithun (Bos Frontalis) is very limited and a very less amount of scientific information is available.The present work has been done to study the impact of altitude and season on the growth performance nutrient utilizationphysiological response in terms of body temperature pulse respiration THI and difference in biochemical parameters such as cortisol NEFA AAN Urea of Mithuns. The results obtained from the present study can be considered as one of the first studies where the work has been conducted at different altitude throughout the year and many research paper has been published in reputed journals. I do hope that the this book will provide an insight of different aspects on Mithun and its adaptability.
