Peripheral venous or intraosseous access as emergency dental access?

Fortunately serious emergencies are rare in dental practices. However this makes it all the more important for dentists to be prepared for such emergency situations and to be able to take simple effective measures to provide rapid patient care. Using inexperienced students as test subjects various aids and access routes for parenteral volume administration and drug application were tested on body donors at the Anatomical Institute of Heidelberg University.
