<p>Sports Medicine and Injury Prevention: The shift towards personalized approaches in sports medicine optimizes athlete care by considering unique biomechanics medical history and performance goals. Prill et al. assessed knee orthotics' impact on coordination in a trial with 24 participants suggesting they do not impair performance.</p><p>Personalized Approaches to Trauma Surgery: This Special Issue emphasizes advancements in personalized trauma surgery focusing on diagnostics and surgical planning. Tepordei et al. developed a method for detecting compartment syndrome. Hanke et al. noted a preference for operative approaches among trauma surgeons. Sakong et al. highlighted the benefits of 3D-printed models for preoperative planning.</p>
