<p>When Anne Elliot meets Derek Worth the summer before her Senior year of high school it's not quite love at first time but almost.  Until things fall apart and the young couple breaks up. </p><p> </p><p>Five years later things are still falling apart.  When Walter Elliot announces that he's bankrupt Anne finds herself without her college fund and a place to live. </p><p>With her childhood home being rented out Anne is faced with living with her sister Mary and her husband Charles.  There she comes face to face with a ghost from her past and Charles' new history tutor – Derek Worth. </p><p> </p><p>Can Anne and Derek find their way back to each other or will Charles' sisters Etta and Isa throw a complication or two their way? </p><p>Persuaded is a combination young adult new adult and contemporary romance variation on Jane Austen's Persuasion. </p>
