Pestilence's Judgment

<p><em>Falling in love with a rider was never a part of the plan.</em></p><p> </p><p>Yet for a few blissful months I knew what it meant to feel loved. But a happily ever after was not something I was meant to have.</p><p> </p><p>He's gone and I am left to face this world alone. I was so lost which led to a terrible lapse in judgment. An error mistakenly unleashed one of his brothers into the world. Pestilence the first rider begins his task which will spell our end.</p><p> </p><p>I have two choices: lie down and wait for his judgment or figure out how to stop this. With people I love counting on me giving up isn't an option. </p><p>When Pestilence shows up at my door he didn't just find me. He came for me. I can't say why he did it but the longer we travel together I realize he is not evil. He's loyal. The issue is his allegiance lies with the one who created him. But if I can shift his loyalties we may still stand a chance.</p><p> </p><p>Could the answer be this simple?</p><p>Is Greer's mounting interest coupled with his unwavering protectiveness of her the solution I seek? Two obstacles stand in my way. A man who can't take a hint and their refusal to admit their growing desire.
