About The Book

Once called “shayar” by a random cousin at a shaadi Shubham took it seriously and wrote 21 unrelated poems—because focusing is overrated. Petals from a Torn Page is his poetic debut created somewhere between chai breaks existential dread and work related overthinking. There’s heartbreak joy philosophy and maybe all poems have come directly from the heart. The poems don’t follow a theme—just like Indian traffic. Expect metaphors deeper than your neighborhood aunt's gossip and more mood swings than an Indian TV serial. Read it if you’ve ever cried to Arijit overthought life at 2 AM or argued with a ceiling fan.
