Imagine sleeping for two thousand years. What would you want? What would be your quest? Peter Coleson has to figure it out. Another powerful jolt of electricity shot through the body that lay within the glass chamber. It twitched violently as the synapses of a brain that had slept for twenty centuries began to pass signals again.He lay there confused until the rumbling stopped. Then the only sounds were the blat-blat of the security system and the occasional crash of falling plaster. Peter struggled to his feet and walked slowly towards the door of the vault. He anxiously glanced down at the chronometer. Using his hands he wiped the dirt from the glass screen. He stepped back when he looked at the date. It read July 22 4008. His eyes widened as he stared in a mixture of terror and disbelief. A cold chill ran through him as he fearfully contemplated the fact that he might have slept for two thousand years! If this is a joke' he said Its not very funny not one damn bit funny! That must be what it is. I couldn't possibly have. his voice trailed off to silence.
