Pharmacolical Activities of Lagerstroemia Reginae Linn

Herbs have been used for flavoring foods medicine or perfume. Keeping in view the increasing demand of herbal drugs over their synthetic counterparts and to counteract the global problem of multi any drug resistance the present study was designed to investigate and establish scientifically the folklore uses of Lagerstroemia reginae as antidiarrheal antidiuretic and antipyretic. The results were statistically significant when compared with the standard drugs. Hence the plant may be explored for its active constituent which will be beneficial to mankind and will in turn help in treating many aliments.
