Philip Quaque

<p>Rev. Philip Quaque's success did not lie in the establishment of several schools or in a thriving Christian ministry. Neither was Quaque's life about glorious victories won nor boasting of remarkable achievements. Rather Quaque's story was about fifty years of perseverance laying the essential foundation for educational institutions in the country. Philip Quaque's impact must therefore be measured differently by the successes of his students. They became local and national leaders who brought about social political and economic change in the country. These were the beneficiaries of the educational system founded during Quaque's fifty years of service and dedication to the Gold Coast known today as the Republic of Ghana.</p>
