Philosophers in the Middle Ages and the development of physics

The medieval period is also known as the dark ages in reference to the ecclesiastical focus on metaphysical and theological reflection. However several authors stand out for their numerous contributions to the most varied fields of knowledge. In this book I seek to highlight aspects that demystify this period of human history showing that it is not only a period of faith and intolerance but also a fertile time for philosophical and scientific reflection.
