Phosphorus Management in Green Gram through Organics

Proper Phosphorus management is an important part of environmental protection in any agricultural system. Phosphate Rich Organic Manure (PROM) is an efficient source of P to replace the chemical fertilizers. It is a mix of well composted organic manure and high grade rock phosphate mineral in very fine size.Some microbial inoculants like Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB) Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhiza (VAM) and PGPR Psedumonas fluorescens are also useful source of Phosphorus to the plants. This book have a brief description of above mentioned P sources and results of 1 year experimentation.
