As far as its content is concerned it begins with a survey of policies dealing with national and international guidelines on physical activity and nutrition in adolescence which can be incorporated into the professional practice and/or lifestyle of other readers. Next an ex-post-facto study with prospective data carried out by the authors of the book is emphasized in a descriptive and analytical way with the methods used being reproducible in the empirical scientific field of the subject. Finally there is an in-depth discussion which in addition to dialoguing with the study's data points to a locus for academic-professional approaches that choose to plan the same course in different time-spaces.
