Physical activity in Canada

About The Book

The large share of public spending allocated to health easily justifies the interest in analyses of the determinants of health and those surrounding the adoption of certain behaviours. Since physical inactivity has been identified as a major health risk we focus on the dynamics surrounding the adoption of physical activity. In this work we examine the economic choice to consume physical activity and its economic and demographic determinants among Canadians in 2010.
