The present study seeks to investigate the reasons that lead High School students to lose interest in Physical Education classes. A survey was conducted through a questionnaire composed of open and closed questions with 191 students from three schools of different contexts in order to understand and analyze the results correlating with the theoretical content presented by different authors seeking a reflection on the main reasons that cause the lack of interest in Physical Education classes. The subject is very questioned by its real meaning and the students even the ones who like it do not attribute value to it. It is concluded then that are intrinsic factors linked to the student''s personal taste and extrinsic factors such as structure material teacher/school are the issues most pointed out by students that when they do not value the contents they lose interest in the classes.
