Physical Education Textbook for Class 11 As per Revised CBSE Syllabus 2022-23

In order to focus on the holistic development of students physical Education has been included as the main subject in the National education Policy. Apart from this it is also teaching of the subject starts from the 11th Class. However the subject a challenge for the students that the physical Education is taught from Secondary level in schools but in reality it is limited to the playing field only. As a result of physical Education being main part of education process teachers and students working in this field faced many challenges mainly in the availability of qualitative course material. Keeping this in mind the present textbook has been composed and designed to cater to the needs of the students. Pictures line drawings and various examples have been used to make the contents very comprehensible. The language of the book is easy to understand. The concepts of physical Education has been explained in clear and simple words/terms so that the students will be able to assimilate the subject-matter.
