Studies show that chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are considered the greatest cause of death worldwide and that affects individuals of all age groups and ethnicities will grow thus causing a greater number of deaths due to these diseases. Among the numerous NCDs chronic kidney disease (CKD) has shown an increase in its prevalence worldwide in recent years. In turn CKD is characterized by the gradual loss of kidney function over time and constitutes a major public health problem due to high rates of prevalence and/or death which causes a negative impact on quality of life. Currently there are several scientific evidences that indicate improvements for this public through regular exercise practice thus the importance of adding knowledge to academics and health professionals who are interested in knowing the benefits generated to the health of these patients as well as in their training to conduct training programs aimed at promoting quality of life bringing autonomy and well-being is of paramount importance.
