Keeping in view of the harmful effects of free radicals on human health detrimental effects of synthetic drugs as well as synthetic antioxidants and the medicinal properties especially the antioxidant potential of medicinal tree spice vanilla (Vanilla fragrans) this book is a compilation of an investigation undertaken with an objective to screen the most potent free radical scavenging fraction of vanilla pods and vanilla essence and to compare the antioxidant potential of both vanilla pods and vanilla essence.
