Piccolissima

The story tells the adventures of a tiny girl named Piccolissima who is no bigger than a thumb. Piccolissima was born to a family of Tom Thumbs and she is just as adventurous and resourceful as her parents and grandparents. One day Piccolissima decides to explore the world outside of her home. She climbs onto a blade of grass and rides the wind to a nearby meadow. In the meadow Piccolissima meets all sorts of interesting creatures including a bee a butterfly and a grasshopper. Piccolissima also has some exciting adventures in the meadow. She helps a bee to rescue its friends from a spiders web and she saves a butterfly from being eaten by a bird. Piccolissima also learns a lot about the natural world from the creatures she meets. At the end of the day Piccolissima returns home tired but happy. She has had a wonderful day exploring the world and learning new things. Piccolissima is a charming and educational story that is perfect for young children.
