About the Author: I was born in a rural Agriculturist family. During my childhood I saw poor villagers working very hard all through the day and not getting even 2 Square meals a day. They had no proper clothes to wear and were dwelling in huts. But they were very simple and trustworthy. They were celebrating all their festivals with their kin and neighbours. Whereas in cities people were getting all modern facilities and were living very happily. They used to exploit the poor villagers who were silent sufferers. Our Poor villagers were born to Suffer. Finally Politicians became aware of the fact that villagers were a force to reckon with as they formed 75% of the Nations population. Their votes were decisive in forming Governments. They started enacting laws in favour of villagers and garnered their votes in their favour. With this background I started writing about my experiences in the form of stories and essays and JEEVAN YATRA is before you to read and enjoy.
