<p>One of the more profound questions that can often be heard on the football terrace or indeed these days in the stands too is the judgmental chant: 'Who ate all the pies?' This book a follow-up to the author's much-acclaimed (his own words) first foray into the world of publishing - 'Pitches and Pies' - might be the place to find an answer. So in these pages we can find out how a linesman could be given a red card how the author almost managed to cause a match fixing scandal why he felt compelled to conduct his own pitch inspection in the pitch dark somewhere in the Highlands and even being let down by the Samaritans. Probably because they don't provide counselling in the event that the author has bought yet another sub-standard pie.</p>
