This time she gets more than she bargains for. Kitty “Pity” Kole is a self-proclaimed garage sale addict who spends much of her free time bargain hunting. The busy divorced mom of teenage girls holds down two jobs but still manages to get involved in plenty of mishaps while on blind dates attending her daughter’s swim meets and of course while shopping.. When Pity discovers suspicious notes in a purple desk she bought at a yard sale she is convinced they are clues to a long-ago murder. With the help of friends family members and a very handsome policeman she tries to solve a crime that authorities wrote off as an accident. As Pity plunges headfirst into a pool of mystery her life and those of her daughters turn dangerously complicated. .
