<p>Ashton has never known a world without the Black Sand threatening his life or invading his dreams. Every night he sees a desert planet and a creature that controls the Black Sand plague that ravaged the known universe.</p><p> </p><p>But why is he the only one who has these dreams?</p><p> </p><p>After escaping the Quarantine Zone to find answers he meets Spencer who spends his time exploring The Beyond with a scattered group of rogue space explorers.
