This study assessed planning and managerial problems of secondary school in the case of arda sub-city In this study The respondents they revealed and rated for questionnaires of this study were from four government secondary schools of Arada sub city. The respondents were 60 11 12 and 2 teachers and supporting staff principals supervisors and experts respectively. There is a wide spread agreement today in academic and governmental circles that public decisions regarding education should be planned rather than adhoc. Therefore secondary schools have to give due attention to planning and managerial activities in order to improve their services. Thus it is recommended that secondary schools have to: Assess all the necessary resources forecast the constraints and possible solutions based on deep-rooted study and come with a feasible guiding plan. Create a stake holder participation in developing their plans.
