In a time where the production of plastic and artificial technologies has been brought into question as we reflect on their ecological and psychological impact we saw an opportunity to extend the conversation into how this understanding finds its way into how we view ourselves and others. In other words how we apply the concepts of plastic and artificial as a lens to the world. Our aim in this work is to dissect these constructions without approaching them with any sort of preconceived answer. This in hopes discovering who we are and how we got there. In turn enabling ourselves and our readers to create powerful blueprints for how to move forward in our journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance.
