<p><em>Please General Washington Don't Give Up! </em>is book three of seven in a series about two fourth grade time travelers. This time they visit General Washington during the American Revolution. Like Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Edison before the kids do their best to encourage General Washington to continue battling the redcoats even when he thinks he's losing. The kids met with the general in his tent at his camp. They urged him to continue for the sake of all of us so we could live in a free country the United States of America.</p>
