<p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>The purpose of this illustrated booklet is to record much of the wartime activities of Plymstock when many of its people were involved in different organisations who enlisted into the services who got caught up in the many air raids and who celebrated the end of hostilities joyously in 1945. This celebration of local history focused on World War 2 in Plymstock is a culmination of much research from the author.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>The contents of this book are identical to the original edition. The author Arthur L Clamp passed away in 2001 but his legacy lives on through his family who have made minor alterations to the covers and are co-ordinating the re-publishing project.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>This revised edition includes additional pages about the author and his writing process.</span></p>
