Poe The Opossum - A True Story

<p>Joel and Rachel had no idea how a simple walk in the woods would change their lives forever. Poe the opossum had been left behind and was too small to survive on his own; the two decided to take him home and get him help. After many failed attempts to find help for this little guy they had no choice but to take on his full-time care needs independently. </p><p></p><p>As they began caring for Poe they learned much about opossums and discovered that most of what they knew was wrong. They found these creatures goofy and loveable much like cats but more clumsy. Caring for Poe completely changed their perspectives and they hoped that sharing his story with others would also help change the minds of the next generation. </p><p></p><p><em>There was NEVER a day that</em></p><p><em>he didn't take a bath.</em></p><p></p><p><em>He showed his affection</em></p><p><em>with licks and rubs.</em></p><p><em>Joel and Rachel called</em></p><p><em>them slubs.</em></p><p></p>
