Poems for Lewis

<p>This book is a re-creation of a notebook I made for my son Lewis Kraiem. The notebook consists of drawings on post-its and the poems those drawings inspired. The Volume 1 post-its were created during the pandemic lockdown of 2020. We were confined to our apartment in the center of Madrid. It was mostly great but sometimes the days were long.</p><p> I had gotten into the habit of doodling on post-its while watching MasterClasses. The drawings were made while watching lectures by Joyce Carol Oats Penn and Teller Billy Collins Chris Hadfield and Neil deGrasse Tyson. I tried to make the three-inch-by-three-inch drawings connect to one another in order to make one big drawing.</p>
