About the Book: This is a bouquet of 125 poems that encompass several themes including Anticipations Love Life Shadows Reflections Dreams Happiness Sorrow Nature and even a few silly ones to make you smile. Readers may find some consolations in the poems if they have gone through heart-breaks rough and tough times experienced joy or in general were just pondering as to what this life is all about. About the Author: Sridhar D. Iyer is a retired marine geologist. He was the Chief Scientist and Head of the Geological Oceanography Division at the CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography Dona Paula Goa India. He has spent nearly four decades researching into the marvels of marine minerals geomorphology structural features and volcanism both coastal and deep-sea regions. Lately he has developed interest in the paradigm of Blue Economy. He has tens of scientific publications and has co-authored three scientific books pertaining to marine minerals and Blue Economy. He has regularly contributed short stories poems hundreds of letters to the editors and so forth to several magazines and newspapers. In January 2021 his first non-fiction book titled “Musings of a Madrasi” was published on Amazon and Kindle.
