Poetry in the Palm Garden

With great pleasure I introduce this body of creative work. Generated by the enclosed poets during a five-day workshop in the Palm Garden of the Key West Public Library. Each day participants were challenged with three writing prompts; not unlike a cooking show challenge where the chefs are given seemingly incompatible ingredients and asked to whip up an edible and presentable dish in twenty minutes. I wanted to push the boundaries of what to bring to the blank page the magic that transpired can be found in these pages. We drew our inspiration from sources including other writing prompts works of art Sci-Fi postcards perfume samples and tarot cards. These poems seep with creative energy.
