He has also been acting chair of the public relations interest group in the Central States Communication Association. Dr. Sowa recently concluded his term as president of the Central Illinois Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America of which he is also a member. He also holds membership in the Central States Communication Association and the National Communication Association.</p>
