Political immunizers face prosecution

Political immunities are attributes accorded to certain holders of public office in order to guarantee on the one hand total non-liability for essential acts performed by them in the course of their duties and on the other hand inviolability for any offences committed by them. The impact of these immunities poses an eloquent problem in legal proceedings so much so that in practice the beneficiaries seem to be above the law. Since inviolability in no way leads to impunity the legal framework must be cleaned up to enable the effective prosecution of the holders of these immunities.
