About The Book

During the colonial era literature was marked by the nationalist négritude movement. It focused on the awakening of nationalism the evils of colonialism and the demand for independence. In the post-colonial era the period of the suns of independence literature was characterized by greater variety. The majority of literary works take the African man as their predominant subject. It focuses on the dramatic action or inertia of so-called independent African countries. Everywhere the abortion of independence ideas is denounced. For the writer of post-colonial Africa his pen becomes his only weapon in the fight against the evils and dangers of political regimes. To complete this research work we will divide it into three chapters. In chapter 1 we discuss the various political problems that arise in our corpus. In the 2nd chapter we examine the consequences of these problems on the socio-political and economic life of the African people. Finally we analyze Tansi's visions for the future of Africa.
