Politically Exposed Persons and the Nigerian State

This monograph on Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) in a Post- Colonial State like Nigeria is the result of special collaborative and research efforts from colleagues around the academia whose time and expertise in the anti-money laundering field were generously shared. This is because the issue of PEPs is one of the most significant points of linkage between AML and anti-corruption efforts. And dealing with corrupt PEPs poses difficult challenges since these individuals are by definition politically influential and severally command substantial resources.
