Politics and the Cameroonian Constitutional Council

The emergence of constitutional jurisdictions is seen today as a veritable legal revolution. It is fair to say that constitutional justice is one of the major developments in constitutional law over the last forty years. Its development began as an American specialty then spread to Europe after the Second World War and was finally conquered by other continents such as Africa from the 1960s onwards. Virtually every state that has achieved independence has had such an institution. Cameroon is no exception. But the Cameroonian politician wants the country to set itself apart by ensuring respect for the democratic bloc.
