She believes herself to be cursed not gifted.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(30 25 21 1)>Persephone's life changes one spring evening when she finds herself alone with a stranger than seems to know her more intimately than she knows herself. Worse it's another god. The encounter leaves her unsettled but she's determined to stay in control of her carefully built life.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(30 25 21 1)>But all control is lost when the god returns days later.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(30 25 21 1)>This time he's come to take her.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(30 25 21 1)>Hades is no cruel captor even as the widely feared God of the Dead. He insists her abduction is vital to his kingdom and her safety assuring her that it's only temporary. Persephone finds it impossible to trust his word or the way his presence evokes something within her that she doesn't understand. As their lives become entangled Persephone tests the boundaries of her confinement to the Underworld and she soon realizes the greatest threat may not be hades at all.</span></p><p></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(30 25 21 1)>But rather what-or who-brought them together.</span></p>
