Redemption through the Cosmos... Teddy Cordova had survived the Vietnam War. With the wounds of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder embedded deep within life falling apart he is pushed over the edge when he meets a young soldier just returned from Afghanistan. Alcohol fueled desperation drives him to the mountains he has loved and with a gun to his head a shimmering blue light opens a portal transporting him through space and time. An advanced but agrarian civilization the people of Erytheum value peaceful coexistence. Despite these cosmic shifts Teddy maintains the painful memory engrams of his previous existence. In this new world the healing of his shattered soul ensues helped along by a shaman a physicist and a beautiful young woman.
