West Papua Province still upholds the existence of customary law which supports the rights of indigenous peoples to land or known as ulayatrights. The dynamics of control ownership use utilization and even relinquishment of customary rights of indigenous peoples on landa are always changing following the pattern of changes in community behavior over the control ownership use and utilization of the land.
