About The Book

My name is Wong Kok Keong Edmund but my love and close friends call me Ed. My mother had stopped calling me using my name or any terms of endearments, mostly because I had already grown so old. I am 38 years old by the way and had not been achieving much after graduation from University of Southampton in 1999. I had an Honours degree in Electronics engineering. I worked in several industries and hold various positions but find no satisfaction in most of them. Routine work seems to tied me down in ways that are more detrimental than productive. Some of these professions include Sales Engineer, Field Application Engineer, Application Engineer and also Financial consultant. Most of the time, I am a thinker and a dreamer. A thinker would be what most would call a philosopher, and a dreamer is what most would call a bumper or a slacker. To combine all these 3 words together (thinker, dreamer and philosopher), I came up with the idea for this book - Post-punk Living in the Social Milieu. A thinker can be ethical. A dreamer can be ethical. Finally, a philosopher can be productive, simply by thinking about possibilities in life. Life to me consist of science, politics, economy, love and ethics, as well as a little religious thoughts and experimentation. Thinking does not lead to death but thinking about death can be productive at times - it makes us treasure life more and love more.
