POSTULATING

Postulating is a relatively short work especially considering it scope and reach. It succinctly delves into the different theories concerning the creation of the universe. It then discusses the development of life on Earth and very early civilizations. The elevation of man from nomadic tribesmen to urban legend is taken up next. Ancient religion is the inevitable next topic. Egyptian Greek and East Indian beliefs are discussed along with Zoroastrianism Confucianism Taoism Buddhism Judaism and the Nation of Islam. The little known Mystery religions are next brought to the fore along with Christianity which is by far the most successful of the genre. Finally the basic and diverse tenets of Humanism receive their due. By design each subject is dealt with in a concise manner as each subject is in itself a complete and weighty tome. The purpose is to pique interests and provoke thought so that each reader can decide for themselves. Perhaps they will even be inspired enough to conduct their own quest and postulate their own conclusions.
