Potential Ferrocenyl derivatives in medicine

This work focused on spreading many ideas on the new progression in organometallic chemistry along with the relation of this field with the bioinorganic chemistry especially the new advances in prodrugs and gene in cancer treatment. The new derivative of compounds (like cisplatin analog) especially ruthenocene and ferrocene will have a high impact on the new progression in treating cancer in decreasing the number of infections by malaria analgesic antineoplastic anti-convulsant anti‐HIV antioxidant antimicrobial and DNA‐cleaving activities. The behavior of these compounds attributed to their stability and the good redox properties. This work devoted to spot some light to the importance of ferrocene derivatives compounds in the biological field and their bio-medicinal action in the treating of some diseases.
