Power Loss Minimization of Electric Distribution System

Power loss reduction is a critical issue in Electrical grid system. The large share of the loss is at distribution system this large share of loss can be minimized by adjusting the load within different time because amount of loss at a particular time will not be similar at different time. Therefore network optimization can be applied by Feeder reconfiguration for loss minimization. The best way to reconfigure a distribution system is performed using Binary Particle Swarm intelligence technique.
