This book is based on the authors course notes on the subject of power system dynamics with emphasis on process simulation and control design methods. They were developed at home during the years the author was employed at the General Electric Co and later at Power Technologies Inc. as vice president and manager of consulting services. The course was given to over two thousand engineers worldwide. It is a valuable reference for engineers in the power industry.
