Pragmatics and Communication Aesthetics of Nicolas Sarkozy

In this book pragmatics was born within the framework of linguistics and its concept is first used by Morris who defines it as the study of the relationship of signs. Thus the dominant trend in twentieth century linguistics began with Ferdinand De Saussure''s Cours de Linguistique Générale. Thus in order to characterise pragmatics it must be situated within the Saussurean dichotomy between language and speech. Thus the reflection to this problematic will go through each of the following stages of this research: - defining the pragmatic approach of discourse - defining the communicative style of Sarkozy - defining the different forms of discourse.
