PRAGUE DAYS AND NIGHTS James Tressler's new novel on his time in Europe's lovely Central European capital in the first years of the new millennium is a funny poignant valentine to the city he loves. Presented as a series of sketches yet maintaining the cohesion of a novel Prague Days and Nights follows his days as an English teacher and nights in the city's notorious red-light district as well as his attempts to find love and fulfillment in the Golden City. PRAGUE DAYS AND NIGHTS is a portable treasure brilliantly reminiscent of Hemingway's A MOVEABLE FEAST in its ability to capture a sense of time and place. James Tressler was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He moved to Europe in 2005 and spent several years in Prague working as teacher and freelance journalist. His work has appeared in The Czech Business Weekly Provokator Magazine and The Prague Post. He is currently living in Istanbul.
