Prayer and Intercession

<p class=ql-align-justify>Prayer is communication with God. Ideally it is two-way communication where believers talk to God and God talks to believers. If prayer is only a one-way communication it often becomes dull and boring but if we talk and listen as we would if we were in a conversation with another person prayer comes to life. </p><p class=ql-align-justify><br></p><p class=ql-align-justify>Prayer may include thanksgiving worship adoration or humble confession. One may share intimate thoughts and emotions with God. Prayer may take the form of intercession - petitioning or pleading on behalf of another person. Prayer may also be supplication which is a heartfelt humble request for something. Ernest prayer and intercession promote closeness with God. </p><p class=ql-align-justify><br></p><p class=ql-align-justify>We can learn much about God and ourselves when we pray if we open our hearts to what He has to say. God is all-knowing meaning He has all the answers so if we listen when we pray we receive insight in addition to answers. </p><p><br></p>
